A New MISSION for BDBC!

In a joint recycling mission with Van der Linde Recycling located at Zion Cross Roads, we now have a storage unit in place in the church parking lot .

The unit was donated by the recycling center to store bicycles, wheelchairs and other items that could be provided to those in need. Some items may need minor repairs and others are in good condition.  We have over thirty bicycles stored in the unit waiting to be picked up and repaired.

Out goal would be to have as many bicycles repaired for the holiday season.  If you would like to join this ministry opportunity please contact Tom Payne or the church office (295-0277) if you are interested in helping.

Bible Study (Sunday School) every Sunday at 10:00 am. We have classes for all ages and all levels of Biblical knowledge. There are also periodic short-term studies and special seminars on various topics throughout the year.

Music Ministries - We have an adult choir which sings every week at our traditional worship service. We also have a praise team which leads worship at our non-traditional worship service. We also have a children's choir which performs at various times throughout the year.

Youth Ministries - The youth meet on the second Sunday evening of the month at the church for a fun get together and Bible study. They also meet at least one other time during the month to do an fun event outside of the church. For more information go to our youth page Click Here.

Children's Ministries - Our children meet every week during the regular Sunday Bible Study hour (10:00am). They also are welcome to worship with the family during the first part of the non-traditional service and come to the front of the church to hear a children's sermon. They are then dismissed to go to children's church for the remainder of the service. We also hold annual events which focus on children such as Vacation Bible School and a Spring Fling.

Missions and Outreach Committee - Organizes several different ways we may use our time, talents, spiritual gifts and monies in ministering to our church, our community and our world. Some examples of church ministries are:

Helping Hands (providing meals for church families in need)

Food Pantry

Tool Box Ministry (Home repair)

Homebound visitation

Holiday Food Baskets

School Supplies for the needy at local schools

Christmas Cards for the woman's prison

Samaritan's Purse- Operation Christmas Child

Love, INC (local ministry)
